The photovoltaic (PV) machine pursuits to cover 86% of the electricity usage at the American Scrap Metals North Building. Initially, the machine has a DC rating of 28.08kW, but it can be accelerated to 56.16kW to fulfill each cutting-edge and future environmental goals. This setup complies with the Buy American Provision of the ARRA.

The device consists of 117 solar modules, each rated at 240 watts, hooked up on a standing seam roof. These panels are organized into nine strings, with every string comprising thirteen modules. The venture employs SMA Sunny Boy 8000US inverters, with three strings linked to every inverter, totaling three inverters. The anticipated annual energy manufacturing of the machine is approximately 35,121 kilowatt-hours. According to the EPA Greenhouse Gas Equivalence Calculator, this electricity production corresponds to one of the following:

1- Offsetting 53,391 pounds of carbon dioxide

2- Removing 4.7 passenger motors from the avenue every year

3- Avoiding the consumption of 2,715 gallons of gasoline

4- Planting 621 trees

This project exemplifies American Scrap Metals’ dedication to sustainable constructing practices
